Hey hon, looks like we will need to make the guest room ready, pull out the futon and the inflatable mattress. Oh, yeah, we're not there yet.  Well when we are, we will be prepared. Open bar for the Hurricane party!!!!! Brings the snacks and drinks you got......I love watching a storm roll through.

Hey, Kathy and Bruce have you thought about a safe room in your future home.  They are all the rage in my hurricane riddled Florida.  It's pretty much a small internal  room made of concrete designed to survive anything from a home invasion to a cat. 5 hurricane.

T.S. Felix is now Hurricane Felix, and the hurricane won't catch me in the Caribbean this time. Ha!

I am currently in CocoView...will keep you posted during the differnt events.

Had gusts of winds late yesterday...a coconut wa shaken loose hit the porch roof and sounded like a baseball bat smacking the porch deck.

All guests are walking under trees with EYES up and watching the nuts.

Rumor has it will will evacuate and hunker down in a hotel in come Monday...current guests will help Yannie with the guest houses.

Will keep you posted...all in all weather is nice but guests just a tad bit nervous...

Indy, Bruce has already thought of that and a safe room will be part f the house plans. Now to just design the house with everything we want.

Just to clarify on the Hurricane parties, we will ride out class 1 or 2 storms, but when Liz gives the order to evacuate, we will take the party elsewhere.

Felix has strengthened quickly to a Cat 2 - Tell Raina to have a Monkey LaLa on me, in case she gets nervous, but hope you are getting ready to batten down the hatches just in case it moves to a Cat 3.

As for the storm room, we have already planned that into our house also. The house around it can be rebuilt, the people can't.

This beast looks like it will be a bad one if it continues on it's predicted course and continues to gain strength. Right now they are showing it going directly over Roatan as a cat 4 hurricane late Tuesday night/ early wed morning. I sure hope something else happens.

For those of you down there, take care and don't leave anything to chance.
Someone remember to grab Poncho and Chiquita.

Later, Rob.

Patty is supposed to come home from her big trip on Wed the 5th I believe. Right into a hurricane. I guess her final leg home will get delayed. The ironic thing is she left just as everyone was preparing for Dean, now she'll get back right after Felix.
